In October 2004, opened its Midtown Manhattan office to serve all five boroughs, as well as VDA’s clients in Nassau and Suffolk counties and Connecticut. The office includes a full-time staff of Field Engineers and consultants to provide Mandated periodic inspections (Category/5 Witnessing), Quality Control Evaluations, Inspection Services, development of maintenance specifications, full modernization, new installations, traffic analyses and proposal review.

The first point of contact in our New York City office is Mr. Michael Balsamo, Vice President of Sales, who joined VDA in 2017 Mr. Balsamo facilitates VDA sales and services, to include business development of new and existing clients, preparation of elevator modernization and/or maintenance specifications, contractor bid reviews, contractor bid interviews, witness test services, project management and customer quality control.
